Our Pastor

David & Jamie Iglesias

Pastor David Iglesias has served as Lead Pastor of Las Cruces First since 2024. With a heart for discipleship and a genuine love for people, Pastor David is dedicated to helping the Las Cruces community encounter the love and hope of God. He began full-time ministry in 1996 and was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 2013. Pastor David holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University. In addition to his pastoral role, he serves as an Executive Presbyter with the New Mexico Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God.

Pastor David and his wife, Jamie, have been married since 1997 and are the proud parents of two sons, Drew and Isaac.

Las Cruces First’s Stewardship Executive, Jamie Iglesias, is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas since 2003. She holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management and a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University. After 25 years in the corporate world, Jamie is committed to using her financial expertise to help strengthen churches and support healthy ministry growth. In addition to her stewardship leadership role, she also leads the Brave Women’s Ministry at LCF.

Aaron & Jill Kayser

Associate Pastor
Pastor Aaron began his ministry journey in 1999 and has been faithfully serving ever since. He and his wife, Jill, married in 2001, share a deep commitment to the local church and to seeing lives changed by the gospel. Credentialed with the Assemblies of God since 2002, Pastor Aaron is passionate about helping people discover their God-given calling, walk in their purpose, and experience the transforming power of a new life in Jesus.

Christian & Kathy Concepcion

Spanish Pastor & Spanish Pastor Assistant
Pastor Christian and Kathy have been serving in ministry since 2012. Christian was officially appointed as Spanish Pastor at Las Cruces First in October of 2022, while Kathy serves as the Assistant and Worship Director. Pastor Christian has a heart for people and a passion for the gospel, he serves to proclaim the good news of Jesus, shepherd God’s people, and witness the Holy Spirit transform families and individuals.

Fred & Katrinka Espinoza

Outreach and Cares Pastor
Pastor Fred has been faithfully serving in leadership at Las Cruces First for more than 20 years with his wife by his side. Ordained in ministry, Fred stepped into the role of Spanish Pastor in 2018, where he served for four years. Today, he oversees the areas of the Outreach Department and the Cares Ministry. Through these ministries, Fred helps extend Christ’s love and compassion to the church family and the greater community.

John & Berenice Vasquez

Worship Director
John and Berenice Vasquez have been married since 2018 and share a deep love for serving the church. John, a pastor’s kid, has been involved in ministry most of his life and brings over 15 years of experience in worship ministry. What drives him in ministry is, first and foremost, his devotion to God and, second, the joy of witnessing lives transformed by Jesus.

Emily Beker

Youth and Young Adults Pastor
Pastor Emily has been serving in youth ministry since 2017, eventually leaving teaching to answer God’s call into full-time ministry as a youth pastor. She leads with a deep passion to see young people discipled, grounded in their faith, and equipped to step into leadership. Her heart is to create a Christ-centered community where students and young adults can discover their identity in Jesus, grow in their gifts, and use them to serve God with confidence and purpose.

Gabby Perez

Kids Pastor
Pastor Gabby has served in kids ministry faithfully since 2018 and has dedicated her adult life to serving, loving, and discipling kids to be Jesus followers. She is passionate about creating a welcoming and joyful environment where children feel loved and valued. Her heart for kids is to help them build a lasting relationship with Jesus that will guide and shape their lives.

David & Ilda Vistine

Legacy Pastor
Pastor David and Ilda Vistine serve as Legacy Pastors at Las Cruces First, leading the Legacy Ministry for members 55 and better. From 1993–2022, they faithfully pastored LCF, guiding nearly three decades of growth before passing the baton to the next generation. Today, they strengthen churches across New Mexico through the NMMN Transition Team, supporting pastors and congregations through seasons of change. Known for their love for God and people, they remain passionate about teaching, preaching, and ministering to all generations.
