How can I get connected?

We offer several ways to get connected at Las Cruces First, including Life groups, serving opportunities, and special events. Life groups are a great way to meet new people and grow in your faith together. You can find more information about life groups on our website or at our Welcome Center in the lobby. We also have a variety of serving opportunities both inside and outside the church, where you can use your gifts and talents to make a difference in our community. If you have any questions or need help finding a way to get involved, our team at the Welcome Center is here to help!

What are our services like?

Our services are contemporary and dynamic, featuring vibrant worship and relevant teaching from the Bible. We believe in creating an atmosphere where people can encounter God and experience His love and grace. Our services typically last around 75-90 minutes and include a time of singing, prayer, and a message.

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable when you come to Las Cruces First, so there's no dress code. You'll see people wearing everything from jeans and t-shirts to business attire. The most important thing is that you feel welcome and can focus on connecting with God and others.

What about my kids?

We love kids at Las Cruces First and have age-appropriate programs for infants through 5th grade during our Sunday services. Our LCF Kids team is committed to creating a safe and fun environment where kids can learn about Jesus and grow in their faith. You can check-in your child at our kids' check-in stations and our team will help you find their classroom.

Our Pastor

David & Jamie Iglesias

Pastor David Iglesias has served as Lead Pastor of Las Cruces First since 2024. With a heart for discipleship and a genuine love for people, he is passionate about helping the Las Cruces community encounter a loving God. Pastor David began full-time ministry in 1996 and was ordained with the Assemblies of God in 2013. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Christian University. In addition to his pastoral role, Pastor David serves as an Executive Presbyter with the New Mexico Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. He and his wife, Jamie, have been married since 1997 and are the proud parents of two sons, Drew and Isaac.

Jamie Iglesias serves Las Cruces First as CFO. She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas since 2003 and holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Management and a Master of Accounting from Texas Christian University. After more than 20 years in the corporate world, Jamie is passionate about using her financial expertise to strengthen churches. In addition to her CFO role, she also leads the Brave Women’s Ministry at LCF.
